Resin injection works
Resin injection waterproofing, compatible with BS 8102 2022 as a remedial, or combined form of waterproofing, may be required to seal and close defects within the concrete structure that is allowing water ingress to penetrate through.
Often in basements structures there can be failings allowing leakage within the concrete structure itself that can come through cracks, joints, or fissures. Our resin injecting works will attempt to seal these defects to create a watertight structure, usually prior to another form of waterproofing.
The process involves a specialist pump that injects the resin (usually polyurethane, acrylic or epoxy) at a specific pressure into the structure, once in contact with moisture the material expands and hardens to block the ingress.
